New Blog — Beyond The Beautiful Game

Part 1 - The Intro - 09/03/2026

On the 21st of March, this group of seven will land in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a football tucked under the arm and a fairly loose plan.

The idea is simple.

Our local team are going global. We’re travelling across Nepal inviting ourselves to play five-a-side football matches across the country.

Nepal is known for its mountains, incredible culture, and famously warm hospitality. Whether or not it’s known for five-a-side football… we’re about to find out.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing updates from the road — organising matches, meeting local communities, and (hopefully) playing some half-decent football along the way.

We’ve also been lucky enough to raise funds that will go directly toward supporting local community teams we meet during the trip.

For now, the bags are nearly packed and the excitement is building.
